When young people tell their own stories, their peers listen.

Teen Sexuality in a Culture of Confusion profiles eight young people of diverse race, ethnicity, socio-economic level, geographic locale and sexual orientation.

With power and passion they share their personal experiences and outlooks on a wide range of issues, including body-image, gender identity, peer pressure, family, religion and their decisions about how and when to act on their own sexuality. Two of the eight talk about living with AIDS.

Photojournalist and documentarian Dan Habib has woven these diverse perspectives into a compelling educational resource. The documentary is designed to educate the American public, particularly young people, their parents, health workers and educators, of the problematic relationship between image-base cultural values and reality-based struggles for personal identity, sexual and social growth.
